The Diamond Signature
Cards of Truth and wealth, a statistical study by Lorris Turpin conducted with Varuna360
Three planets on one ♦ Diamond, and the money follows.
A pattern found in 59 business tycoons, then tested on 72 ultra-wealthy people whose cards had never been examined. It held.
The question
Diamonds are the money suit in cartomancy. That association gives us precise claims that can be tested against data instead of illustrated with selected examples.

Four claims were tested:
- Wealthy people have more Diamonds in their natal birth spread.
- They have more face cards (Jacks, Queens and Kings), read as powerful cards.
- They have more even ranks than odd ranks.
- Several planets stacked on one Diamond, for example three planets on the 10 of Diamonds, mark great wealth.
One essential precaution
The date-to-card map is not evenly distributed. Diamonds account for about 37% of birth dates and Clubs about 35%, while Hearts and Spades each account for about 14%. Comparing an observed Diamond rate with a theoretical 25% would therefore manufacture a Diamond effect in almost any group.
The imbalance is even stronger card by card: the 3 of Diamonds covers about 4.0% of the year, compared with only 0.12% for the Queen of Spades. One is therefore 33 times more common than the other. This is why every comparison uses a real population instead of a theoretical even deck.

This study compares wealthy people with a real control population. It also separates two layers:
- The birth-date layer: the birth card and the suit/rank composition of the 14 cards. It does not depend on the selected zodiac.
- The planetary layer: the card occupied by each of the seven classical planets. It depends on the zodiac frame and card order.
The groups
In total, 3,886 birth charts were read in the Cards of Truth natal spread, using Solar System order and the Aditya frame: 3,343 famous charts and 543 personal charts before cleaning and deduplication.
| Group | Charts | Role in the study |
|---|---|---|
| Business tycoons and economists | 59 | Discovery set |
| Ultra-wealthy non-tycoons | 72 | Independent replication set |
| Ordinary people | 423 | Control group |
| Famous non-tycoons | 3,281 | Negative control |
| Historical monarchs | 14 | Separate exploratory group |
Where the pattern was first spotted. Anything found here starts as a hypothesis.
Labelled by net worth before a single card was examined.
Real friends, family and followers, neither famous nor selected for money.
If the pipeline manufactured patterns, this is where they would show.
Duplicates were removed. Wealth labels were frozen from publicly reported net worth, with a threshold near $300 million, before any card data was joined. No chart appears in both wealthy groups.
What the study found
The simplest result did not replicate: tycoons often had a Diamond birth card, but the effect disappeared completely in the second group of ultra-wealthy people.
However, a stack of three or more planets on a single Diamond appeared in 27.8% of the replication group, compared with 17.0% of ordinary people. This was the only one of the four claims to survive an independent test.
There is an important limit: the result appears with the Solar System Cards of Truth order. It disappears with the Week Day order. The detailed tests, significance values, controls, and interpretation of Saturn and Bhaga are reserved for Explorer members.
