The Astrological Houses

1st House or the Ascendant

The 1st house, the Ascendant, represents the body but also physical health. Physical health is also related to the body's ability to function correctly and provide resources to the brain so that it can function. A healthy body is therefore indirectly related to intelligence. The ruler of the ascendant gives the physical orientation of the body, physical strength, and where the person's physical body is most often found. For example, for an Aries Ascendant, the ruler Mars, if found in the 5th house in Leo, the person will tend to spend time in a creative, family, or leisure environment.

The first house represents the beginning of the path, birth, but also the number 1, the unit of measurement of the rest. It is said that the ascendant represents the confidence you have in your life path, the first step on Earth, the beginning of the astrological chart, the child's first step. Much importance is given to the beginning of something because every beginning allows you to somehow know the end, in the same way that a birth date allows you to know who you are. The ascendant seems like something obvious but spiritually subtle at the same time, because it represents the physical body, but this appearance also defines the way others look at you. Are you ashamed of your physical appearance, of your incarnation on Earth? This famous Ascendant represents the rotation of the Earth because it changes every 2 hours. There are therefore 12 Ascendants in a 24-hour day. The planets that are on the ascendant have a lot of influence on the individual, because they modify the physical appearance but also the way we see ourselves and the way society sees us. Saturn and Jupiter represent the two extremes of the strength of the ascendant. But also Mercury which is more neutral. Jupiter on the ascendant indicates a person oriented towards the spiritual, while Saturn traumatizes the person's birth on Earth. A person with a difficult Ascendant has trouble seeing who they are, they don't see themselves, they forget themselves and prefer to turn to the 7th house which is the opposite of the Ascendant. Jupiter on the Ascendant will on the contrary indicate someone who understands who they are, why they came into the world and their life path is often full of enthusiasm, at least if Jupiter is not weak depending on other factors.

2nd House: Resources, Physical Identity "Artha"

The second house is linked to family resources, close friends, collections of objects, but also responsibilities. There is a direct interaction between the first and second houses. The second house confers the ability to be responsible depending on the identity defined by the first house. The more you know who you are (first house), the easier it is to be yourself with your close friends, for example.

A strong second house brings stability in friendly relationships and offers the ability to find the necessary resources to be oneself and develop one's skills. It also strengthens the sense of responsibility and can provide an abundance of material resources, or the ability to obtain them through close friends, a specific life situation, sensory observation, or adaptation to circumstances.

This house is associated with the Moon, which is exalted in Taurus, an Earth sign. This underscores the importance of finding one's resources through the five senses. A powerful second house can give a strong identity, a recognized name or brand, sometimes linked to an inheritance related to the opposite house (8th). In general, people with a dominant second house are present for their family and have a natural ease in being there for others, like a service rendered (the next in the parable of Jesus with the Samaritan). They accumulate or collect valuable resources and have an aptitude for discerning what is useful, both for themselves and for others. But this is not a superficial resource, and remains above all useful.

It is often said that the second house represents resources, but this is not its only meaning. The more useful a person is, the more they can become "indispensable", because they are able to offer their time or resources. For example, the Moon is considered very well placed in the second house, because it is linked to self-image and the ability to reflect what is beneficial at a given moment. A strong second house can also favor the aptitude to collect valuable objects. For example, someone passionate about Tarot can accumulate card decks, which, in large numbers, can represent considerable wealth. There are many people who become rich by collecting cards, bitcoins, rare books, gold, etc.

This house is therefore linked to self-image, personal value, a name, attachment to physical reality and material presence in the sense of the concept of Artha (material goal and prosperity). It is said that the eighth house is associated with sex, but the second house would be linked to love through the usefulness that a person brings to others. There is a direct link between the usefulness brought in a relationship (2nd) and the shared resources such as sexuality but also trust in the other (8th). The eighth house is often considered that of the marginalized or the excluded, because it does not produce tangible wealth (Artha), while the second house symbolizes a constant and concrete presence, which can cultivate a love based on the perceived value of the person.

In a professional context, a person with a strong second house can be responsible for many employees. The Moon, as a planet associated with sensory observation, can confer physical gifts of "clairvoyance" in this position, because it allows a better understanding of the concrete world and, by extension, the ability to deduce elements about the spiritual world (8th moksha).

In everyday life, we find this type of individual in characters like Sherlock Holmes, who love to observe physical reality with acuity, being constantly attentive to the smallest details and drawing relevant conclusions. People who are very observant thanks to a strong second house often have a known or particular name that attracts attention, creating a distinctive brand image.

A concrete example is Robert Downey Jr., who has an exchange between the second and ninth houses, a yoga that favors success thanks to a powerful second house. He is famous for having played Sherlock Holmes, and his name is well known, notably due to a paternal inheritance or linked to the government (symbolized here by the ninth house). He also played the role of a journalist in one of his films.

Another example is the actor who plays Marty McFly's father in Back to the Future. He has a yoga exchange between the second and first houses, which gives him an identity marked by his name, often highlighted in his films. A striking example of this dynamic can be found in his lead role in the film Willard (2003), where his name is displayed in a particularly significant way.

Details
2nd House: The Mirror of the Soul Through Name and Senses

The second house is the sanctuary where your name, your practical skills, and what you cherish become tangible extensions of your identity. Symbolized by the Moon exalted in Taurus, this house embodies how your emotional needs take root in the physical world - like the Moon, which reflects the light of the Sun, you learn to reflect your soul through what you collect, create, or offer daily. Here, your name is not just a word: it is a brand, a living legacy that you shape through concrete actions. Unlike the 8th house (which deals with material inheritances or gifts from others), the 2nd house feeds on what you build yourself - a meal prepared with love, a meticulously organized workshop, or a collection of tools reflecting your passions.

Robert Downey Jr.: The Name as Armor

With his Leo Ascendant and Mercury (lord of the 2nd house) in the 9th house, Robert Downey Jr. illustrates a Maha yoga where personal resources (2nd) merge with universal wisdom (9th). Like Iron Man, whose armor is only a high-tech reflection of his inventive genius, Downey embodies the one who transforms his skills into legend. His name, associated with timeless roles, acts as a shield - a way to protect and assert his identity, like a parent watching over their child (see PAE: Protective Legitimacy). In Sherlock Holmes, his observer's eye - scrutinizing details like the Moon in Taurus scrutinizes the tangible - reveals how the 2nd house transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary.

Crispin Glover: The Name That Defies Time

Take Crispin Glover, famous for his role as George McFly in Back to the Future. His name, literally inscribed on the screen in films like Willard, becomes a symbol of persistence - as if each letter claimed "I am here, anchored in this reality". A strong 2nd house does not just collect objects; it sculpts an unforgettable presence. Glover, with his eccentric style and meticulously chosen roles, shows how the "me" (1st house) and the "what I value" (2nd house) intertwine to create an indelible brand.

Robert Pattinson: The Vampiric Observer

In Twilight, Robert Pattinson plays Edward Cullen - a vampire whose 2nd house manifests as an obsession to protect what he loves, through concrete actions (watching over Bella all night, memorizing every detail of her existence). Later, in The Batman, he plays a vigilante analyzing clues with the precision of a watchmaker - a perfect metaphor for the Moon in Taurus, which gives meaning to the world through the senses. Pattinson, like Downey, proves that a harmonious 2nd house is not limited to accumulation: it creates a silent language between what you possess and what you are.

The 2nd House in Daily Action

Imagine your neighbor who repairs bikes for free in the neighborhood - each tool in his garage tells a story, each gesture reinforces his name as "the one who can fix anything". It's not money or fame he seeks, but the satisfaction of seeing his identity reflected in useful actions. Like the Moon in Taurus, which finds peace in a well-maintained garden, the 2nd house reminds you that your value lies in what you choose to cherish, not in what others give you. Collect, build, and let your name become synonymous with what makes you unique - a living legacy, written in the concrete.

2nd House: Resources, Physical Identity "Artha"

The second house is linked to family resources, close friends, collections of objects, but also responsibilities. There is a direct interaction between the first and second houses.

The 2nd house gives the ability to be responsible depending on who you are (first house). The more you know who you are (1st house), the easier it is to be yourself with your close friends.

A strong 2nd house

  • Stability with your friends.
  • Ability to find resources to be yourself and develop your skills.
  • Makes you responsible and can give you many material resources or the ability to find them through close friends or possessions.

Relationship with the Moon and Taurus This house is linked to the Moon, exalted in Taurus (Earth sign), which means finding your resources with the 5 senses. This gives a strong identity, a recognized name or brand, sometimes linked to a family inheritance (related to the opposite house: 8th house).

The 2nd House and Usefulness People with a strong 2nd house are often present for their family and have an ease in serving others.

  • They collect resources that have value.
  • They perceive what is useful, both for themselves and for others.
  • The more useful a person is, the more they become "indispensable", because they are able to give their time or resources.

The Moon in the 2nd House

  • Very well placed here.
  • Linked to self-image and the ability to choose what is beneficial.
  • Can give a passion for collecting valuable objects (e.g. collecting Tarots that take on great value).

Identity, Value and Materiality (Artha) The 2nd house concerns:

  • Self-image.
  • Personal value.
  • Attachment to a physical reality.
  • A material presence linked to the idea of Artha (material goal and resources).

The 2nd House and Love

  • Unlike the 8th house (linked to sex), the 2nd house is associated with love through usefulness.
  • The 8th house can represent a person rejected by society because they do not bring concrete value (Artha), while the 2nd house brings a constant presence, facilitating the development of love.
  • In business, a strong 2nd house can make someone responsible for many employees.

Gifts of Observation and Clairvoyance

  • The Moon in the 2nd house, linked to the senses, can give a talent for clairvoyance.
  • These people understand the physical reality better, which allows them to deduce spiritual truths.
  • Sherlock Holmes is a perfect archetype:
    • Strong talent for sensory observation.
    • Ability to deduce clues.
    • Known and distinctive name (often linked to the 2nd house).

Examples of Famous Actors

  • Robert Downey Jr.:
    • Yoga between house 2 and 9 (success thanks to this 2nd house).
    • Plays Sherlock Holmes (observation and deduction).
    • His name is known worldwide, linked to his father-son inheritance (9th house).
    • His Iron Man armor is an extension of himself, an accumulation of technologies and tools allowing him to exist and surpass himself, reflecting how the 2nd house works.
  • Crispin Glover (Marty McFly's father in "Back to the Future"):
    • Yoga between the 2nd and 1st houses.
    • His name is often highlighted in his films.
    • In Back to the Future, he writes a book and builds his fortune through his creative talents and imagination (science fiction).
    • The famous phrase "you can accomplish anything you want if you put your mind to it" shows the connection between the 2nd house, the Moon and perseverance.
    • The entire trilogy revolves around the McFly identity and family, illustrating the idea of the 2nd house: name, reputation and persistence through time.

📌 Checklist of Key Components of the 2nd House ✅ Name, brand and reputation ✅ Personal and material resources ✅ Responsibility and stability ✅ Practical sense and observation ✅ Ability to accumulate and structure ✅ Connection to inheritances and family continuity ✅ Tangible presence and long-term impact

The 2nd house is therefore not limited to material wealth. It also represents usefulness, identity, personal value and attachment to a tangible reality. It plays an essential role in how a person perceives their value and how they are perceived by others.

Robert Downey Jr.: Armor as Layers of Identity

With his Leo Ascendant and Mercury (lord of the 2nd house) in the 9th house, Robert Downey Jr. embodies a Maha yoga where resources (2nd) merge with universal wisdom (9th). In Iron Man, his suit is not just armor - it is a collection of layers that he meticulously assembles, like the Cancer Crab adds shells to its carapace. Each piece of the suit reflects a skill, a part of his identity. His name, associated with Tony Stark, becomes synonymous with "the one who transforms tools into legend".

Crispin Glover: The Name That Defies Eras

In Back to the Future, George McFly (played by Crispin Glover) writes a science fiction novel - a pure act of lunar persistence (2nd house). The phrase "If you focus, you can accomplish anything" sums up the energy of the Moon in Taurus: accumulating concrete efforts to materialize a vision. McFly, in every timeline (past, present, future), remains defined by his name and reputation as a writer - shy but tenacious. The entire saga revolves around the McFlys - their name, their presence, their legacy - as if the 2nd house insisted: "What you build, stays".

Robert Pattinson: The Vampire Collector of Presence

In Twilight, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) watches over Bella all night, memorizing every detail of her as a collector catalogs his objects. Later, in The Batman, he plays a vigilante analyzing clues with the precision of a watchmaker - a metaphor for the 2nd house: observe, accumulate, protect. Like the Moon in Cancer, he uses his "tools" (his senses, his strength) to create an emotional refuge - proving that resources are not just material, but proofs of love.

Checklist of the 2nd House
  1. Your Name: A brand that persists, linked to your reputation (e.g. McFly).
  2. Tools & Collections: Objects or skills that reflect your essence (e.g. Iron Man's armor, George McFly's novels).
  3. Lunar Persistence: Ability to work methodically, like the Moon in Taurus.
  4. Living Legacy: What you create survives time (e.g. a family, a business, an art).
  5. Fixity: Nothing is lost - your resources remain anchored, like the characters of Back to the Future traversing the eras.

3rd House: Siblings, Logic and Discernment

The 3rd House is linked to our ability to become independent through our logic, to understand what is happening with very little help from a male parent. It is strongly associated with competition, the character of the person and their ability to work on themselves. This house often confers a form of intelligence, an aptitude to manage on one's own, to find a solution to a problem, without needing constant guidance.

One could say that this house is linked to personal development through a competitive activity. It also represents our way of behaving with our "siblings", in the broad sense: this includes employees, neighbors, teammates in a sports team. A weak or troubled 3rd House will precisely create problems in these areas: an absent or severe brother, difficulties in asserting one's character, a lack of confidence in one's logical and analytical abilities.

The 3rd House being a Kama house, it often gives people who love to have fun, who enjoy playing roles like actors, with a particular gift for making others laugh. These individuals are often amusing, with a confidence that dares to step off the beaten path.

But where the 9th House represents structured travel, access to easy common transport resources, like the highway, the 3rd House works differently. Those who are marked by it must find their own way to get around, often outside the already established paths. They do not have access to a train or plane taking them directly to their destination; they must forge their own path through the jungle, a bit like Tarzan, who has no roads but uses vines to travel.

Thus, these people do not wait for society to provide them with a ready-made solution. They must develop their own transport network, whether it be contacts, skills or alternative learning strategies. They sometimes advance slowly and with difficulty, but they acquire a unique autonomy that those who follow the highway do not develop.

However, this freedom of choice can also generate a certain extreme focus on a precise goal, leading to an egocentric perception of the world. They want to accomplish themselves in a specific direction, sometimes refusing the "highway" that others take. This well reflects the absence of a father, who represents here authority, guidance and a structured framework. When parents are not present, children have fun and make their own decisions without authority.

These individuals use logic a lot to advance in life, relying on their mental abilities to analyze, understand and decide. This house is also linked to our ability to understand through logic what is happening in the world, often giving journalists or people in constant search of tangible evidence to advance in their life path.

In this house, the father represents the spiritual path. His absence does not only mean a physical absence, but also an absence of God. These individuals may feel that they are making decisions without God's consent, living in the present moment according to their own choices and criteria. They are independent of the spiritual or cultural recommendations of the country, which can make them escape the constraints of a government, or lead them to become "anti-authority".

This resembles a lot the characteristics of Mars, a planet linked to the number 3 and personal development. These individuals often learn as self-taught and can be very competent if this house is strong.

Being a social and Kama house, it is linked to entertainment through self-work, which is often considered difficult because it involves not depending on parents to have fun. This often puts the individual in contradiction with established norms, and this gap can be perceived as amusing or entertaining by others.

The opposite house, the 9th House, being linked to Dharma, the 3rd House is often in opposition to moral and spiritual authority. Where the 9th House represents spiritual precepts and culture, the 3rd House seeks to forge its own path.

In some cases, a strong physical disposition in the 3rd House can give a person who uses logic to improve their physical abilities. These individuals can develop an impressive physique over time, learn a martial art or acquire a skill that gives them independence from others. This often gives talent and natural confidence.

An excellent example is Tarzan. Without parents, he somehow developed on his own, self-taught. He not only acquired exceptional physical strength, but also became intellectually developed.

Unlike those who use the highway, Tarzan moves differently. He has neither roads nor vehicles, but he has learned to use vines to move with speed and agility. He has a mini-library, he reads constantly, does research and learns tirelessly, while having a very developed physique. He is a perfect archetype of a strong 3rd House: mental independence, physical development and self-taught learning.

These people often have a mother who helps them get by on their own, an aspect found in Tarzan's story with his adoptive mother.

We can also see other examples, like the story of Nicky Larson in the anime or Deadpool, played by actor Ryan Reynolds, which perfectly illustrates the influence of the 3rd House. The criticism often made of Ryan Reynolds is exactly what is reproached to people marked by this 3rd House: an impression of only thinking about his activities, his jokes and his offbeat actions that go against established norms.

We also find this energy in the series Mayfair Witches, with actor Harry Hamlin, who has a very strong Parivartana between the 1st and 3rd Houses. If we look at one of his films or series, we will see precisely the characteristics of this 3rd House in action.

4th House: Family Environment and Emotional Stability

The 4th House represents the environment in which one grew up. It is linked to the mother, but also to the earth itself, the family home, the residence or even the property. This house is important both financially and emotionally, as it reflects our inner and material stability.

It is also linked to the 2nd House, which represents our ability to maintain and preserve this property. A strong 4th House makes a person stable both emotionally and physically, which makes it a house almost as important as the Ascendant itself.

This house takes on particular importance for a woman, as a difficulty in this area can indicate that she has trouble being calm and composed, which can impact her ability to create a healthy environment for her children or husband. A person who is constantly anxious or frightened may have a weak or afflicted 4th House, especially with Saturn in this house.

Jupiter, the Moon and Venus generally bring benefits here, providing stability, gentleness and emotional well-being.

A weak 4th House often manifests in a person who works a lot and prefers to devote themselves to the opposite house, the 10th. This can be a woman absorbed by her career, who does not have time to take care of her family environment, or someone who hates spending time at home, having life goals that go beyond the family nest.

The 4th House is linked to happiness, as it is part of the Moksha houses, associated with spiritual liberation. A person with a strong 4th House often has a calm nature, a tendency to be peaceful, and an ability to find inner joy.

In this context, if this house is dominant, the individual may be attracted to activities that promote spiritual liberation, such as yoga, meditation, hypnosis, etc.

Conversely, an affliction in this house can lead to deep emotional problems. It is a combination that can generate a form of inner hypocrisy: the person cannot release their false emotions, they identify with their bad moods, and hide truths from themselves. Unable to stay calm, they do not correctly evaluate their emotions, which often become unbalanced.

The 4th House is a house of action linked to Moksha, but in the worst cases, a serious affliction can lead to emotional inaction, to a deep blockage. A person with an extremely afflicted 4th House can accumulate intense traumas, making emotion management very difficult.

In the most extreme cases, this house can be linked to criminals or people who are very emotionally unstable, who have particularly difficult planetary combinations in this house.

5th House: Creativity, Children, Art and Hobbies

The 5th House is a bit like the 2nd House after the Ascendant, except that here, it represents the 2nd House after the 4th. We could therefore say that it symbolizes the responsibilities linked to the family environment. A strong 5th House gives creativity, charisma and the ability to guide one's children so that they discover for themselves who they really are.

It also represents the Ascendant of your children, directly influencing their character and development. A difficulty here can lead to problems with children, whether having them, taking care of them, or establishing a bond with them.

A well-placed 5th House can give writers, artists or people who love to create, whatever the activity: dance, music, computer science, etc. Some even consider this house as important as the Ascendant, or even more so, because it reflects our true identity, our Dharma, our life path, as well as our ability to create valuable things, to bring added value to a project or a business.

A weak 5th House leads to difficulties in innovating and improving what exists. What we do in life defines who we are, and a weakness in this house can affect reputation as well as aspects related to genetics.

The 5th House is also linked to the law of attraction, because if the Ascendant represents the body, the 5th House represents our thoughts. Blockages here can lead to shame about our individuality, a malaise linked to self-expression. Hence the charisma it provides when it is strong, and conversely, a lack of presence and confidence if it is weak.

A 5th House with heavy afflictions can lead to serious psychological disorders, ranging from a feeling of imposture to destructive thoughts, recurrent nightmares, or even dark tales of possession, witchcraft and torture. This house being linked to children and creation, a person marked by difficulties here may experience problems with any form of creative innovation that seems too audacious or dangerous for certain people. In concrete life, this can lead to a childhood without creativity, a deep malaise linked to identity, or an inability to create new solutions.

This can also generate a problem of constancy. If we observe children, we would tend to say that they learn quickly, but the true reason for this "rapid" learning lies in their ability to repeat tirelessly an activity. Unlike some adults who have lost this imaginative fixity, children practice over and over again until understanding becomes intuitive.

When a child watches television, they repeatedly say certain words until they grasp the meaning. This mental fixity can sometimes give the impression that they are naive or slow, but if we observe writers who produce captivating stories, they spend a lot of time imagining all the details of their story, perfecting each element until they bring a coherent world to life.

Sometimes, this immersion can provoke hallucinations or an overflowing imagination. The characters themselves come to life in the creator's mind, like in a lucid dream. When a strong imagination is coupled with anxiety, a person can end up losing control of their mind and developing a fear of their own creative abilities. This is one of the reasons why very creative minds are sometimes perceived as crazy.

The houses linked to Dharma require great self-confidence. Jesus, for example, healed the sick through gestures and metaphors that few understood at the time. This required a form of intuitive genius, an ability to express a truth beyond established conventions. Yet, many Christians have reversed this visionary aspect of Jesus and replaced it with the image of a parent, a government or a group of unimaginative individuals. Thus, they do not fully grasp what he meant by "Be like children".

If we count from the 5th House to the 10th House, linked to kings and presidents, we arrive at the number 8, a number associated with deep changes, mysteries and esoteric transformation. This means that children, or those who have a creative mind, tend to upset the leaders of the world, who are linked to a Artha house, the 10th House.

In opposition, the 11th House is often associated with the opposite of the 5th. Where the 5th House represents individual expression and original creation, the 11th House is linked to groups of individuals who take up and reproduce what already exists in the industry. The Internet, for example, embodies this dynamic of sharing knowledge through collective platforms like Facebook, Google, TikTok, etc. These sharing groups focus more on the dissemination and networking of ideas rather than pure innovation.

The 5th House, on the other hand, is often linked to a form of creative solitude. True innovation is generally born from an individual process, where imagination can express itself without being limited by collective validation or the need to adhere to already established trends.

Parents are often judged through their children, especially on their ability to guide them towards a positive role in society. There is strong social pressure on them, oscillating between overprotection and neglect. The education given by the 3rd House is one thing, but the 5th House asks the question: does this education bring a benefit to society?

We can also compare this house to the 2nd: while the 2nd House brings a physical benefit to support us, the 5th House is oriented towards a goal linked to Dharma. It is naturally connected to Jupiter, the 5th planet, which explains its link with children, the transmission of knowledge and the quest for perfection. But here, it is not a physical perfection, but a spiritual perfection. And this perfection is often out of the ordinary, in constant reform like a child who always wants to grow.

6th House, work, enemies, physical difficulties, ability to see the concrete

The 3rd house from the 4th, we have competition linked to the earthly resources of the property, it is a house (environment) considered difficult. Making physical efforts to survive financially, physically, finding one's place in the concrete world. Doing work on oneself to understand the concrete situation, the physical reality, health problems, being diplomatic, making one's enemies one's friends. Being competitive to stabilize one's place in the world, understanding the laws of the world, submitting to the earth. A simple house to understand. A weak 6th house gives an inability to adapt to the real world, to follow the rules of society and therefore to be sociable when working. The 6th represents all the services we provide to society so that it functions. A strong 6th house sometimes gives a taste for nature, the desire to protect animals or the physical body, and in some cases an obsession with physical work. There is also sometimes a desire to please physically, people who do a lot of sport or are considered hyperactive without really being so, who want to be useful to society in a concrete way. The 6th house like the 3rd represents a difficult environment in which one must fight and be competitive while remaining diplomatic. The number 6 is very important and it is linked to many things including the highest success you can have on earth. And so the 6 is a number linked to ephemeral glory on earth and so this success then attracts the death of this success. And this death is found in the next number the 7. In some people where the 6th house is too prominent there is a desire for immortality, to survive in this physical body eternally, the concept of vampire is based on this, it is a refusal of the opposite house the 12th, which is linked to spiritual rebirth or a refusal of the next number the 7.

7th house, partners, rivals, exchanges, death, life path

The 7th like the 4th and the 1st (the ascendant) is a new beginning, the 7th represents the mirror of the Ascendant. The opinion that the public has of you or your partner, your lover, your rival, or those you need to exchange resources, services, it is the house of the "Trader", the wandering merchant. The 7th house represents your ability to exchange with others in an equitable manner (linked to the 7th Sign Libra, balance). That's why the 7th represents death and rivals, because a partner who has not received the value they thought they had in an exchange with you can become your enemy. And so this 7th house is also war, or the strength of your enemy depending on you the ascendant. The balance between the 7th and the 1st house is important, a strong Ascendant and a weak 7th house creates an imbalance, this often gives people who are solitary, who do not like to exchange and therefore who often do not see themselves in the mirror, and therefore cannot judge themselves, understand themselves or question themselves. A weak 7th house gives problems in relationships, or the ability to see one's enemies who are actually people with whom you can make exchanges, barters or have a good time, rest. The 7th house is linked to Saturn, the destruction of our ego, a strong Saturn allows us to question ourselves, to see our faults. Not to judge the other for their past actions, forgiveness is linked to Saturn, to forgive oneself (the ascendant) and to forgive others (7th house), to accept one's physical faults, to accept the death of our physical body (6th) but also of our physical beauty which is not eternal. Saturn is exalted in the Sign of Venus Libra for this reason.

8th house, the resources of others, inheritances

The 8th house is the 2nd house from the 7th. It therefore represents the responsibility and resources of partners or rivals.

We can see why this is a sensitive and dangerous house because it is the ability to trust the resources of others, to be dependent on the capacity of your partner, your rival. The 8th house is a blind spot or a pit that we do not see, the 8th house is an invisible house, this represents our faults that we do not see. A strong 8th house gives the ability to trust, this gives spiritual stability. A weak 8th house gives difficulties in asking for help, in letting go during a sexual relationship and a difficulty in seeing one's faults. The 8th house is linked to esotericism, to the search for the invisible, to the mysteries of life. A weak 8th house gives difficulties in being oneself because we only look for the visible problems of our couple, we do not go deep, where there are the real problems. The 8th house is therefore linked to astrology and the discovery of any invisible esoteric science (Tarot, cards, prediction). Without important work on oneself the 8th house does not work, and this work on oneself is linked to the 3rd house and Scorpio the 8th Sign. We can make many parallels between the 8th house and Scorpio, a Sign as misunderstood as this 8th house. Any planet in this house is very difficult to understand, it is an invisible part of the personality, a mysterious hidden side, which can be a very good side of the personality. A person with a very strong 8th house has overcome part of their faults and is therefore an extraordinary person, who has overcome the poison of Scorpio. There is therefore a rebirth after Scorpio, and this is linked to the next number, the next number is only achievable if the previous one has made a minimum of effort. That's why the 9th number, the most spiritual, is often misunderstood, because it is partly dependent on the previous number which is invisible. That's why we associate the 9th house with luck.

9th house, culture, country, father, teachers, the key

The 3rd from the 7th, so the competition of our partners or the competition of teachers, our educators. Curiously it is one of the houses where competition seems least apparent. It is a house that is linked to letting go, it is in a way the result of our efforts, it is the answer to our questions that is given through our teachers and our father (spiritual and physical). In fact this competition is very present when the house is weak, this gives racism or the competition of the people with themselves, the desire to stand out and become someone recognized through society, someone who is considered the most beneficial to society, that is to say the teacher who educates and gives the answer to our questions, or the help of governments to the poor. A strong 9th house gives a law of attraction that works, that's why we say that this house is the most beneficial, it attracts good teachers, a respect for the culture of the country and the help of the government or companies or a teacher who meets our expectations. A weak 9th house gives difficulties with our father and our teachers, conflicts with teachers, and sometimes paranoia towards the government; a "conspiracy theory" is often linked to a weak 9th house or one that is developing. We can also say that the 9th house is the invisible hand that feeds us, a metaphor used in economic science to represent the government that helps us. The 9th house is also any help provided by associations or previously the Catholic Church which was one with the government, it provided help to the poor through the Church; "divine providence". Someone who has a strong 9th house will often easily attract these aids in their life, they will have the impression that life is only a destiny and that believing is easy, that letting go is easy, it is forgetting the 8th house. A very strong 9th house and a weak 8th house will give naivety, a spirituality without anchoring. Someone who wants to travel thinking that there is no danger, there is indeed no danger if you have overcome the danger of the 8th house (you can read Bernard Werber's book on this subject Les Thanatonautes). That's why we associate the 9th Sign Sagittarius with Travel, these are people who want to accomplish great objectives in their life and who therefore seem to have a very open vision of the world, but this vision is only open if other factors in the chart are present. I have the impression that Sagittarius is linked to the Phoenix that is reborn from its ashes, and this rebirth is linked to Scorpio the 8th sign and therefore also to the 8th House. We therefore have the process of the 9th house that occurs naturally when someone brushes with death, these are the experiences of death that we hear about in testimonies. They often talk about a tunnel where they see the path to God, some people often of Christian origin see Jesus for example in this Tunnel, these experiences will vary depending on the 9th house. People who have Ketu in the 9th house will talk about this kind of experience (NDE near-death experience) much more often, especially if the sign of the House is linked to a Water Sign (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces). People who are Ascendant Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces will have these experiences too. The stronger the 9th house, the more pleasant or positive these experiences will be. On the opposite we have the example of the series The X-Files when the 9th house is in difficulty. Ketu is considered the Ninth Graha in Vedic astrology, so we must also look at the lord of Ketu to know if this experience is positive or not. The author of the X-Files series has the lord of Ketu in debilitation in the Sign of Virgo, the series tells his spiritual experience (Ketu) with a scientific jargon (Virgo) that is not appropriate to the spiritual context. In a much more down-to-earth context we have Coluche with Ketu in the 9th house in a Sign the Sign Capricorn, this gives the Restaurants du Cœur, the invisible hand of a former "poor" who "feeds" the people alone (Coluche and the Restos du Cœur: an example of Aditya Puushaa).

10th house, Karma, Zenith, Work, Leadership

The 10th house is a new beginning, the beginning of work, taking your first step into the world as a Leader and responsible. The 10th house is linked to the Zenith of the Sun, it is where the Sun is strongest, this gives independence, reliability, long-term stability. The ability to be a good leader, to make sacrifices for the good of others who are below us. A strong 10th house gives competence in work, the ability to manage one's work and business correctly. A weak 10th house gives a tyrant who does not respect those who are below him, someone who wants to go to the Moon but who forgets that for this he must sacrifice labor and therefore going to the Moon is perhaps a useless sacrifice for the good of the people. The sun is consciousness, the ability to see what is good for your kingdom and to go in that direction of stability, of a good vision for the people because the 10th Sign is linked to Capricorn, the sign of Karma whose lord is Saturn. A leader who does not respect the slave or the concrete of Capricorn is not a good Leader but a tyrant. Mars is also very strong in the 10th house, so a leader must face dangers, overcome his inner enemies with self-work. A good leader has enormous self-control, Mars is the control of one's impulses, of one's subconscious, a bit like a martial arts master who does not need to show who is competent in his art. As Tywin Lannister would say in the series "Games of Thrones" a King is King, he does not need to say it, "I am the King!!" he is the King because he does good actions, at least when the 10th house is strong. Mars is the chief of armies, the general of war. When the 10th house is weak this gives leaders who seek to have respect without acts of bravery. It is the Sun, Mars, and the 10th house that give this strength.

11th House, Political Group, Marriage, Diplomas, Salaries, Group Psychology

The 11th is the second from the 10th, so it is the management of responsibilities linked to Leadership. Being responsible for a group gives you the possibility of having a fixed remuneration thanks to the reputation you have acquired, it is therefore the value that society sees through you. Or the image you project through your actions of the 10th house. There can be an imbalance between your leadership actions (10th) and the image you project through a diploma you have acquired. This house is also very sensitive because it is linked to money, or the ease of acquiring money by giving a false image of who you are in society, the false identity or the false CV. The 11th is therefore linked to your individuality but it is also your ability to exchange knowledge through groups, the Internet is therefore linked to this house but also all groups of people that are formed. The 11th house depends largely on the 5th house which is its opposite, innovation and creativity. A stagnation can occur if the 11th is much stronger than the 5th, the person will have a strong dependence on groups to advance or have difficulty with solitude in a family environment. This is what often happens with the internet, we let the internet innovate for us without bringing our "grain of salt". Many people who have Ketu in the 11th tend to feel very strong in the field of commerce, to sell their image but have difficulty taking care of their creativity, innovating or taking care of their children. They are however equipped for a marriage because they have fixed resources thanks to diplomas or other social recognition that allow them to access stable salaries, the famous permanent contract. Today we see this phenomenon occurring with social networks that allow you to acquire a fixed salary while traveling around the world. We call this profession "influencers" and not creators, these are notably the professions linked to "drop shipping" or resale without any physical production, service companies like Amazon. We can therefore also say that a shopping center is linked to the 11th house because it produces almost nothing itself, it depends on its networks to bring finished products. From a psychological point of view we will have people who rebel against society, they can have difficulty with children or education in general, they will be given the title "intelligent" without the ability to produce this intelligence because they are rarely present at school or are too often in groups. The celebrity that the 11th offers often makes this house be seen badly through society in the long term at least when there is a flagrant imbalance, it is the "love and hate" effect we adore celebrities but somehow we hate them because they have a life of "rich". There is therefore a link between the 11th and networks of politics, mafia, dirty money, leech companies that do not really participate in the production of the country's wealth. And in the worst cases we have pedophilia which seems to be the logical result when we have a very very failing creativity. It is the equivalent of the paranoia that we find in the 9th house when it is in great difficulty, but here it affects the creativity of one's inner child which is the 5th house. In opposition to the 11th house which is the sale of this child who normally has grown up and is no longer a child and therefore can face society, a strong 11th house therefore gives maturity, very strong self-control and the ability to say no which is linked to Saturn. The 11th from a spiritual point of view represents the passage before reincarnation in the 12th, it is Saturn's test through Aquarius the 11th sign, that's why Saturn likes the Sign of Aquarius, for Saturn Aquarius is a very long-term goal and not a film like The Wolf of Wall Street with Leonardo Dicaprio. This represents self-work from a psychological point of view, managing one's social leadership, understanding human behavior, everything related to psychology is important in this house. That's why this house is linked to astrology which gives knowledge of psychology, an understanding of oneself and the behavior of others. We can see here the interdependence between sales and psychology, sometimes called mass psychology or psychology of the masses.

12th house, debt, hidden networks, isolation, intellectual or spiritual research

The 12th is the 3rd from the 10th, it is the competition of leaders and as they are at the top of the hierarchical ladder they are little known to the public. It is also the result of a physical conflict, the result of a judgment of a court of justice, "fated events". The 12th house is the most hidden house like the Sign Pisces there is a spiritual link behind this house. The planets in this house are hidden and not apparent, that is to say that the person's consciousness seems invisible, as if the person did not exist. We find this phenomenon especially when Ketu is in this house, this is the case of the actor who plays the role of the Joker in the film Darknight. An important planet like the Sun, The moon or Ketu will amplify this phenomenon, the person will have many secrets or hidden things that are difficult to detect for most people even if we force this subject in a banal conversation.

The 12th house is an environment of solitude that allows intellectual and spiritual development according to the strength of the planets. People who have Ketu in this house will often show intellectual strategy to defeat an enemy without touching them, it is in a way a psychological or "magical" attack. In a more worldly context we will often have people who are isolated (prisons, hospitals, rooms, video games, films, literature, fantasies). People confined or who do research in laboratories, these are dangerous environments due to the absence of people or psychological isolation that forges the person's character. There is very little margin for error in this environment, these people are therefore forced to learn at the risk of losing something important, this house is linked to the loss of something or transformation also called reincarnation. We have a lot of spiritual people in this group, that is to say those who isolate themselves on a mountain to pray or do meditation. In the context of politics there is the principle of debt and money, you owe me something, there is therefore a context of monetary liberation or of forcing someone to pay a debt, we therefore have the psychological slavery linked to this house.

In an extreme context the person is "sometimes" not attracted by money or the physical, physical effort, the body and physical appearance, this is often the case of ketu in this house, they have renounced all physical form of gratification or at least they give this impression but there is always a balance that comes back to face them.

The 12th house also represents an intellectual or spiritual authority because it is a house that is linked to the 10th and 11th. There is therefore a competition to know who is the most intelligent or the most spiritual or the most chaotic in the context of the Joker. But this intelligence is limited to the upper castes and is not very practical or linked to physical reality. We therefore have people who sometimes become excessive in this isolated environment, they can no longer live in society, we could call this the elitism syndrome. There are those at the bottom who work hard, the physical labor of the 6th house, of the slave who understands the physical reality of work. And the isolated person who comes from a family that has "always" had everything from a physical point of view, who did not need to fight to have a moment of solitude or calm. The 12th house represents the absence of enemies or illness. But the 12th being linked to the 6th there are psychological illnesses that appear, the danger of using one's mental resources too much or creating an imaginary world to comfort us from the physical problems of everyday life. When the person excessively uses the 12th house there is a risk of mental illness and this mental illness will then be reflected on the 6th house. This mental illness will therefore indirectly affect their physical health, the 6th house. The 6th house is an environment that scares people who are excessive with the 12th house, this is the case of those who have ketu in the 12th house.

We could call this house, house of the theory that is only rarely put into practice if the 6th house is weak, we can also say your imaginary world is not really applicable to the mundane reality of everyday life. Many professors and students who love school, studies, laboratory research have a "strong" 12th house. In a context where Venus is strong we will have people dreaming of romance, isolated pleasures of life, unfulfilled fantasies in the real. We also sometimes have the Robin Hood who steals from the rich (12th) to redistribute to the poor the 6th house. There is often a fight between the 6th and the 12th, between physical workers and intellectual workers, the consequences are often difficult to manage. The 12th and the 6th being interdependent we cannot use these houses to define the wealth of a person, but their attitude towards these different groups. Batman defends the common mortals, those who make enormous physical efforts, who destroy their bodies to save their loved ones while the Joker doesn't give a damn about his physical body, he mutilates himself, and makes fun of any person who uses their body to succeed in life and not their spiritual intelligence. Both give the impression that they are not afraid of death while they are both frightened, one of seeing his friends die, he defends order, the law, he even saves the life of the Joker. The Joker is afraid of being part of the society that seems to be synonymous with death for him, he does not like the order of this world, he prefers chaos. Batman destroys his body the 6th house while the Joker destroys his mental health the 12th house, both can die from this.
