The different types of travel
7th house the foreigner, and Me the 1st house (Ascendant)
The 7th house represents exchanges, and therefore any person you don't know, there is generally a theme of immigration associated with this house but from a point of view of consciousness and incarnation on Earth. This journey is therefore directly in relation with who you are. The person will for example say I found myself or I needed to find myself by making this journey. The theme may resemble the 3rd and 9th house but here the theme is concentrated on the search for oneself, this gives an impression of narcissism. We can have here people who are very solitary (Asc) or the opposite very social (7th). But there is an interdependence between this social and this spiritual solitude. We can also have disabled people linked to the 1st house which represents the body, and therefore a forced dependence on others in a way. This disability is sometimes not apparent, an internal disability linked to hormones for example, which makes the person unavailable for daily tasks and therefore very dependent on their partner. On the other hand the partner without disability will have the impression of doing everything in the relationship while they also depend on this relationship to advance socially, because they are often very solitary themselves without realizing it. We can see this kind of theme through romantic films where a very attractive man or woman is physically incapacitated due to an illness, cancer, a major hormonal problem, etc. The theme of travel appears more for the social person who then becomes antisocial because of their illness and therefore must learn to live with themselves that is to say their Ascendant, who they really are.
Ketu Rahu, the true journey, the internal journey (Ketu) or external (Rahu),
South Node or North Node in French, Ketu and Rahu function a little like an Ascendant (Ketu) and a 7th house (Rahu). And therefore there is a particular self-discovery which is psychologically intense for the person because it is linked to their incarnation. If the person wants to know why they are the way they are, their link with their parents, their life path or their perfectionism in a field (Ketu). Ketu in the 7th will show for example it is often someone who loves to discover themselves through others and therefore a person who loves travel, who is rarely at home or with themselves. Ketu in a house will increase the focus in this house while Rahu will show its shortcomings in this area, Rahu represents a fog, a difficult environment for us which is linked to a lack or an imbalance in our personality, what we refuse to accept or see. Rahu represents a blind spot also like the 8th house but a psychological blind spot while the 8th house represents a physical blind spot. We can have impressions of being possessed if we go excessively towards this unknown. A person who has the Moon next to Rahu will go excessively towards this unknown and will make a lot of mistakes in their youth, and will give this impression of eternal child who learns quickly but who always makes the same mistakes. Most people are frightened by Rahu and only very rarely go in this direction unless forced by the circumstances of their life, we cannot therefore really judge Rahu or Ketu because it is often the circumstances of the person's life. At least we can have this impression if we study the person's experience on Earth, their autobiography. A period linked to Rahu is very difficult for the person, but it is often a period where the person also finds themselves freed from their excessive perfectionism linked to Ketu. There is therefore a journey that often occurs when the person enters a period linked to Rahu, and often a destruction of the life concepts linked to Ketu, which is also a base, here a fortress that we think is indestructible, but which is destroyed during the periods linked to Rahu, it is also for this that we sometimes associate Rahu with a dragon that destroys a castle. A person who has the Moon or many planets next to Rahu is almost always in this destructive period and therefore these are often people considered unconscious. On the other hand people with many planets next to Ketu have a behavior of restriction, an excessive restriction, especially if the Sun is next to Ketu. These are often people who love to have control over everything. We will therefore have on one side an impression of child for Rahu and an impression of parent for Ketu.
3rd house small journey and work on oneself, and 9th work on others
The 3rd house is a journey in general small on one's own territory, the person who has a focus on this house tends to stay on their own territory, and therefore can be a good tourist guide, but who has difficulty with their own culture and recognizes it, the person generally stays on their positions, and learns from themselves, the self-taught. We will see here people who do not need to go to the other side of the world to learn or at least that's their way of seeing things. They are not very fond of travel even if they remain open to all possibilities, at least that's the impression they give. They are in fact very discriminating through their personal research and have sometimes discovered things that they themselves do not really accept. There are often constant doubts about their attitude towards others. They are often in opposition to the profit of a culture, or people who like to stay on their territory without being disturbed. There is an apparent humility but also a desire to show their independence, often a physical or intellectual independence. Physical independence will resemble the 6th house but with a focus on understanding skills, personal research, the desire to show that the person depends only on themselves, we can have for example in films a person who retreats into nature while being very strong a bit like Tarzan. It is often people who have the impression of knowing their territory by heart but they are afraid to really open up, for fear of losing their independence or depending on this culture. We will see this often through American films because Americans have a huge focus on the 3rd house.
9th spiritual journey, discovery of a culture and acceptance of a culture
The person who likes to travel with the aim of accepting another culture, who likes to discover the way of life of others, generally people who are accepted everywhere and do not have a problem with racism. At least in appearance because they are often very very open in appearance only, they often depend on others to advance their opinion without realizing it. In general they do not like small trips and in general with them it is all or nothing, either you accept me for who I am or you do not accept me. And so despite this apparent openness they are quite closed and are constantly traveling to discover the person who will accept them regardless of their lack of position on life, there is a blur in their personal culture. There is therefore a refusal to see oneself or to see oneself only through the culture of others. This person will often be a fan of travel, they like to let go, to feel free regardless of the place, but once on the territory will not look further. We will therefore have a person who accepts a culture without really understanding it, it is therefore very easy to accept someone or a culture if you have no idea of this culture or this person. Often they will reject this culture without realizing it through their inconsiderate action, their spiritual blindness. They are sometimes moralizers who do not understand much about what is happening but who therefore attract crowds around them because they have this openness of mind, this blind acceptance of the other. The 9th is interdependent with the 3rd, one without the other does not work. We cannot only make small trips or only trips by plane from one country to another without really visiting the poor neighborhoods for example. People with a strong focus on the 9th are often people close to the government or with this culture of the father or a protective parent who protects the culture or the spiritual order of the country. We can have people who work in the army for example or in positions said to be helped by the "Welfare State", the trips seem easy for them therefore as long as they are helped by this dominant position, with this state support or entrepreneurship, we can have business leaders in this position. We can take the opposite example of Tarzan with a Queen who goes into the jungle without any understanding of "African" culture or nature, and therefore destroys the jungle through ignorance.
4th house stability and instability, search for a home and a Leader 10th house
The 4th is a base and it is therefore very important for the journey, the person can for example search for a home to live in, there is a lot of intimacy with this house, there will therefore often be family conflicts or a person who seeks to be alone quietly in their cocoon. It is an environment that is hidden with as much subtlety as the woman herself because the first base of a man or a woman is a woman, that is to say the belly of their mother, and the leader being the father the 10th house, the woman is forced to be dependent on someone when she gives birth even if this man is not physically present during childbirth, there can be an absent or too present leader who suffocates their partner. There can be conflicts of authority between woman or man in this context, with sometimes mixtures. These 2 houses are difficult subjects to approach because we talk about as much emotional richness as the ability to be financially or spiritually independent. There is sometimes a theme of survival, of fighting for one's territory or one's family. People who have a focus on the 10th will be unstable at home and therefore travel for their work, this is the reason they give themselves, but another reason is that they do not like to spend time in their family home, there is often a major family trauma or a void that the person cannot fill, it is a bit like building a house on sand or having money to build a house but not wanting to enjoy it by spending time at home. We will therefore often have people who work a lot but do not use their house which remains vacant most of the time. On the other hand people with a focus on the 4th will have difficulty working or being independent. But the 4th and the 10th being very special houses linked to Yin and Yang we will often have inversions or people who do not appear as they really are, sometimes people who give this impression of being happy while they are not, because they have often had a major family trauma, a conflict between a parent and a child, between the independence of the 10th and the rest of the 4th house. We sometimes have people who set themselves impossible challenges to achieve like a journey into space which seems useless from an external point of view because the person does not have this earthly survival capacity, the search for space is an escape, an internal fear of living on Earth at home. We therefore often have people with major family conflicts who are in total delirium in terms of their space research, they appear sane but in the context of their life only flee their true life through impossible projects to achieve. The 3rd and 9th house can also give similar themes but slightly different in their approach. The 10th house represents the Zenith, the 9th is just next to this Zenith, we could say that the 10th represents the journey into space while the 9th is the journey by plane from one country to another. We also have people who are between the two with a focus as much on the 9th as the 10th.
6th house sports journey and isolation in nature 12th house
People who travel for this reason often have a desire to understand physical reality through sport, physical endurance, these are very simple people, close to nature and animals. There is therefore also a theme of survival, or fear of losing one's physical abilities, this loss is represented by the 12th house. The person attaches themselves to their physical body and therefore fears losing it, the 12th represents reincarnation. It is often a person who makes a journey in a dangerous or isolated environment from any population (which is also a danger), sometimes finds themselves in solitude which makes them lose their physical senses. There is therefore a direct connection between the 6th house and the physical body and the loss of its physical senses which seems to be madness for the person who is attached to the real of the 6th house (Artha). On the other hand the person with a focus on the 12th will give this impression of knowing everything, of not being a simple person on the other hand, a person who loves solitude and who is used to this solitude often exaggerated. This can be a monk who meditates all day on a mountain with very few oxygen resources, the person will often be in a fairy, divine dream. But they have very little contact with physical reality, on the other hand the wanderer of the 6th house is often very social because they are in contact on the other hand too often with physical reality, it is a person who loves physical contact, and who says physical contact says social contact and sometimes also sexual. We therefore have two very different environments which confront each other because it seems at the opposite of the borders. But the more the person of the 6th evolves the more they will have to confront this solitude that every leader of their body must confront, at the limit of the resources of their body or in this solitude of the mountaineer, we can see this phenomenon appear in Batman films with the actor Christian Bale. The person with a focus on the 6th will secretly admire this monk or this mountaineer who seem to have conquered all their senses through their meditation or their solitude but precisely has very rarely faced physical reality. On the other hand the one who has a focus on the 12th meets this person who comes to see them on their mountain, this person seems to have everything they never had. We therefore have a mutual admiration but rarely admitted by the person themselves. In the context of everyday life this appears in different ways we sometimes have the one of the 12th who has this sometimes "haughty" approach the gentleman I know everything and the hyper simplistic approach of the 6th who pretends that everything is simple, everything is nature. We can have "sexual" problems in both groups, one who assumes their sexuality too much and the other not at all, one who lives in such a fairy world that sex is only a romantic or virtual option in video games or Harry Potter books or vampire romance books. This is where we can see that just next to the 6th and the 12th there is the ascendant and the 7th. So often these themes of romanticism that we find in the 1st and the 7th are also found in the 6th and the 12th with sometimes very subtle nuances.
5th house journey for creativity and groups 11th house
The 5th is either an internal spiritual journey through a dream or imagination 5th or a journey with groups of individuals who need to learn to be creative without this group (11th house). There can be very difficult themes in this context of the 5th because it touches on our personal creativity, and this creativity is often associated with our intelligence. In this context of the 11th we have the impression that this intelligence disappears but there are people who stand out with their charisma, their charm or their "creativity". We sometimes have this impression of being exploited for our charisma or our intelligence for people who have this capacity of the 5th. In the context of the 11th we have people who have the impression of taking advantage of this charisma, or being in search of this creative energy which is not given to everyone or at least they have this impression while the other person feels isolated because often too creative and they have this need to share without realizing it. In certain contexts we will have jealousies or an impression of vampirism. What really happens has nothing to do with witchcraft or morbid themes linked to unhealthy creativity but rather a desire to be oneself with groups of individuals. This theme can resemble the 4th house and the 10th because they are environments of close people and similar. We can have a DJ for example who travels thanks to their creativity skills the 5th, and thanks to groups of individuals finds financial stability, but these groups can also prevent them from being alone and therefore steal their energy, which is in fact just their way of resting by being creative. There is not really theft but sharing, but the person feels stolen if there are difficulties in this house. The 5th house is what you think, if what you think is that you are being stolen, you will be stolen because you think about it all the time, you are therefore attracted by this energy of theft, this is what happens in scam films, easy money, easy success, these are those who exploit the 11th house and therefore think they are exploiting without doing harm and come up against very creative people who feel stolen, and therefore attract people from the 11th who have a void inside them, a creative lack, it is the impostor syndrome, a syndrome which is often present in those who only do business without bringing value, there are influencers who are often in this category if they are not really creative but pretend to be.
2nd house responsibility and inheritance 8th house, having a secondary residence
The 8th is the most hidden house that exists, and it is linked to a secondary residence. There are therefore often conflicts linked to the family in this context and often a desire to become rich instantly. What really happens is linked to responsibilities linked to the 2nd house, a person who adapts and who is very reliable in the very long term, it is often this person who takes care of a house or a group of houses, there is therefore a financial aspect in the very long term, while the 8th represents the sharing of this responsibility with a person who is in need or a person who knows how to accept an offer or trust this very responsible person. In reality there are often conflicts because the person with a focus on the 8th is a person who often fears responsibilities, and the other the opposite. There is therefore an exchange, and a very hidden, spiritual exchange, with sometimes sexual desires linked to the 8th house. This sexual desire is in fact almost total abandonment or the ability to trust another person. There is not really physical travel in this context but I put it anyway there is perhaps a spiritual journey. Or people who have many secondary homes through their profession. And therefore attract jealousy, people who have inheritances are often seen as people who take advantage of the wealth of others without doing anything, which is partly false, for the same reason that people who have worked for this wealth do not necessarily like to share it, therefore live in solitude, on the other hand.
