The Navamsha, the 9th division: marriage in the broad sense D9

The word marriage here is symbolic and actually refers to many things in everyday life. In the same way that in different cultures the word marriage can have very different connotations. The word marriage here refers to all types of marriage, including living alone. The marriage of the Navamsha is linked to Venus and to devotion and to the ninth house of the main chart the Rashi (D1). The Navamsha must therefore be used according to this 9th house in the main chart. Someone who has a planet in difficulty according to the rules of Avastha (see the article PAC) in the 9th house will have a difficult relationship with devotion, with the faith they have in their life. The 9th house is linked to belief, to culture, to "nationalism", to being in harmony with one's country of origin. The more planets with good Avastha on the 9th house, the easier the earthly path is or seems to appear as if God had wished it so or the law of attraction, or the fact that there are coincidences everywhere I go. Inside the Rashi the connotation is linked to the person's experience with concrete events that occur that should make the person happy, should from our scientific or logical point of view linked to the 3rd house, which is our ability to see the logic of events on Earth. The stronger the opposite house of the 9th house (3rd) is, the more the person has the ability to rationalize logically all the events of their life. There is therefore an interdependence between the number 3 and 9, between the 3rd house and the 9th. Numerology gives a special symbolism to the fact that 3 times 3 makes 9, this means that to reach the spiritual evolution that the number 9 symbolizes one must also use their logic of Mars the 3rd planet, Ketu is the 9th planet linked to reincarnation. But for now I explain here that the point of view of the Rashi, which is linked to the Ascendant, the first house which is linked to our body when it lives on earth.

For example, if on your Ascendant you have Saturn you will have a lot of suffering linked to Saturn on your life path, so this often creates a lack of knowledge or confidence in yourself, on the vision of who you are, your way of being. But if there is a strong Jupiter in Cancer for example on the 9th house events will occur that will make your life seem to have meaning. The person may experience "I have a community that supports me, parents, teachers, a teacher who constantly brings me the answers, the law of attraction that works, someone answers my prayers, a spiritual father a government, a job, a guide, a spiritual community"

In the context of the Navamsha we have here the feeling of marriage, the person may have a very strong 9th house with strong planets on this house but if inside the Navamsha there are many problems the person will not appreciate it at its true value. Venus is linked to the value you attribute to the marriage of your life, if the Navamsha is strong the person is in devotion with their life, Venus is the most important planet in the D9. Devotion in this context brings inner joy, the impression of being in connection with the activities of one's life. The person for example may be satisfied with their job, their wife, their relationship with their teacher, their relationship with the path of their life even if the events seem unfavorable (9th house). So even if the person has a boring teacher they will manage to be in agreement despite everything with their life path, this can be their wife, their life project, their work, all the things manifested through the 9th house, this includes your government, your country, your nation, your culture, etc. We can therefore understand why the D9 the Navamsha is almost as important as the D1 the Rashi.

The exalted or debilitated planets are a quick way to judge the strength of the Navamsha, with particular importance for Venus. If Venus is in Virgo the person often has difficulty appreciating the subtleties of this marriage, appreciating each little moment or perhaps the difficulty of "I love or I appreciate my life". The Navamsha which is partly linked to the end while the Rashi shows the beginning, the Rashi is linked to the 1, the beginning. We therefore have the evolution of the person after 32 years for the Navamsha, while the Rashi shows the beginning. People who have many strong planets in the D9 will become stronger, more mature, more resilient. While the opposite happens for those who have difficulties in their Navamsha. The D9 shows the faith of never giving up, of never giving in or of being in total devotion to one's life path depending on the planets that are strong. In my context I have Mars and Saturn in exaltation in the D9 so I tend to appreciate the difficulties, the trials of my life, because these 2 planets are linked to the difficulties of life. Someone who has a weak Moon here will have difficulty appreciating the present moment during their life path, because the Moon is linked to the present moment. A weak Mars will show someone who is aggressive or passive with their life path, who does not want to solve the problems of their life. A weak Saturn shows someone who is not patient with what life offers them, who tends to want more, or not be satisfied with little, Saturn represents the ability to be a "slave". Strong Mercury will show someone who learns from their life, who finds a way to make their life fun like a child who enjoys playing, interacting with the world like a child or like an actor/Avatar (Vishnu). Strong Venus shows someone who is devoted to their marriage, to their wife, or to God, Venus gives love, patience, diplomacy, the art of living correctly or in a balanced way. Having respect, being proud and respectful both towards others and oneself. Like someone who is proud of their student knowing that Venus represents a teacher. Venus is exalted in the sign of Pisces linked to Jupiter.

For example, during a breakup if the Navamsha is weak the person loses the meaning of their life, they are lost and if it is strong it is the opposite. With a strong D9 the person thinks that or sees this as a moment of their life that they can appreciate, find a balance to their unhappiness (Saturn), that they can learn from it (Mercury) or grow by working even more on themselves (Mars). And that's more or less what I felt during my last breakup because these planets are strong in my Navamsha. I have always been anchored in my life path, anchored like a boat in the sea of the Pisces of life. The Navamsha can show suicidal tendencies, the lack of desire to live.

The reading of the Navamsha can reveal all these nuances that are not present when looking at the Rashi the D1, the one that is used exclusively by astrologers in the West. The Saptamsha the D7 also reveals a lot of things as well as many Varga in various areas of life according to the mathematical symbolism of the Vargas (Divisions) The D60 is also very important in the context of spirituality, it is the chart that represents the conclusion of everything. The D30 is linked to health and physical appearance, diseases, etc The D12 the parents The D10 the work The D16 the vehicles

The amount of detail that can be read through the Vargas can take as much time as reading the main chart the Rashi. There are 16 Vargas that are important according to the rules of Parashara. And so there are 15 parts of life that Western astrologers cannot read with the techniques they use. The use of the Rashi only gives an erroneous value of astrology, with something that seems to work not necessarily better than weather forecasts on certain days. To fill this gap Western astrology is filled with folklore to compensate for this lack, with people who invent techniques or sometimes reinvent techniques. Or worse use techniques that are not at all adapted or complicate systems that are very simple. There is a "Saturnian" rule that says that the simpler something is the more chances it is true, each planet has a rule, Mars logic. And so the complicated systems are unusable or still in the state of theoretical research and therefore unusable for the common mortal astrologer who are not in research but in use.
